I fear some may look at this photo and may not think much of it. There isn’t much to it, even I think that. Until you add context to the project.
This view, with small trees on each side of this outlet to the beach, is often the first full view of the sunrise I get each morning when walking to my usual place on the beach at Shiras Park.
These trees, sticks, branches, and bushes are part of a train that I feel I could navigate with a blindfold on. I have now walked between these branches countless times, through every season, through every weather condition, through vibrant sunrises, dull sunrises, while happy, and while sad.
This conveys a tremendous amount of authenticity into the project.
