Closing out month eight of twelve. The Year of the Sunrise is now 2/3 complete.
Today was easy and breezy, actually there was hardly a breeze at all. I was intentional in watching the sun the moment it breaks the horizon, hoping to see the green flash. No green flash this morning.
Sunrise this morning, northern lights last night. They were subtle, but the milky way was stunning, as Beatrice and I watched from the beach at Wetmore Landing. I wanted to stay long enough to count three shooting stars. I must have seen eight.
And today? Khalid arrives!
What more could I ask? Well the best of all is that today my nieces arrive in Marquette for the first time ever! It’s a complete and full life.
