Drops are now deprecated. After a good run, I've learned I can publish sunrises faster when I do just a few at a time, as a time allows, rather than committing to twelve at a time. This will allow me to catch up on publishing faster. See the most recent sunrises to be published.

As of today, only 737 sunrises left to publish. This morning at Shiras Park was the first morning of the season wearing shorts at sunrise and concludes forty-one consecutive months without missing a sunrise.

This has been a difficult week. And before this news broke I had already been writing about the drowning feeling of defeat, struggling to figure out how to thrive while going it alone.

Before there, it writing a big list of items that began with “If only…” As I reflect on this project, I want it to become more transparent, about mental health, adversity, the struggle of being a full-time artist, and so forth. Very much like sunrises, to not only present the good, beautiful, easy mornings.
