As incredible as this sky was, I had to choose another photo. It has become such a routine to this little trail in the snow to the shoreline, and on a morning like this, it’s a rushed and panicked race to run out there and catch the color before it fades.
After a fresh snowfall, I’m curious to know how much of this foot traffic is mine each morning. While I know I’m not panking the snow entirely on my own, I know that this portion is more than any other.
It’s a moment, “a vibe” as some would say, the moment I step from behind the trees and have the wide opening landscape to see the color and what the lake is doing on that given morning. This encompasses that view each morning.
