With identical exposure settings and focal length, this was 12 seconds earlier facing the same direction as a snowsquall passed by. I just remember my camera had a hard time locking onto focus with those distant ice shanties coming in and out of view.
These whiteout sunrises are favorites of mine. As I see sunrise, this is as much sunrise as any bright purple and pink sunrise.
… Also, thanks to my dad for pushing my car out as it got stuck minutes after I took this.
