There are mornings where I am less than pleased with the photos I download some weeks later. This is one of those mornings.
I don’t know what happened here. Photos with far too shallow of depths of field and compositions that make me wonder what I was doing.
When in new place on an uninspired sunrise outing, I find myself feeling lost. I remember that feeling this morning, not sure where to go, not sure what to take photos of, and it seems I entirely forget basic camera settings in the process. While I don’t mind this composition, it drives me mad how not sharp it is.
This outing is the result of the commitment, publishing a photo, no matter the results. Something like this would never be seen in a ‘best of’ photo project or gallery, which would entirely defeat the purpose of Year of the Sunrise.
