My friend Raj asked to join me on sunrise for the Winter Solstice. Here he his celebrating the first glimpse of sun.
Not only was this a glorious sunrise fitting for a winter solstice celebration, but it also concludes a thirteen day stretch of not seeing the sun at sunrise, one of the longest stretches of the entire project.
The circumstances of it all made for a sunrise that elevated and replenished the soul, especially with those brutal -12º wind chills.
