I had just rented some extra gear for my 1,000th sunrise road trip. I also rented a camera bag which you can see next to the bench resting against the tree. I had stepped away from it while taking photos when a guy walked up to the bag, picked it up, and started walking away with it. In panic I had to run toward him to let him know to put it down. He seemed kind, but confused. I think he sincerely thought it was left behind. But still, how would someone leave something that significant behind? It was certainly a moment of panic.
