On the banks of the Red Cedar…
Sunrises 999 through 1,002 mark a special and memorable segment of these sunrise years.
For sunrise 1,001 I woke up in East Lansing and spent the morning walking around the campus of my alma mater, Michigan State University.
This spot on the Red Cedar River was especially memorable during the summer of 2003 when I would take my lunch break at these rapids on a nearly daily basis.
There are countless fond memories from MSU and it meant a lot to get back on campus for a sunrise. wish I could get back more often.
