Musings [121 words]

It’s not the first time I’ve written about this, and it probably won’t be the last. On mornings like this, and this, and this, and this, I love to show an authentic experience of what the morning was like. As the project goes on, I don’t even make an attempt to keep the lens dry. This is the morning, it was wet, the camera was soaking wet, the lens, my jacket, pants, everything. I get a little tired of nature photography out in the elements that is so perfect and crisp in everyway, and it removes the experience of being there in that moment. Crank down the aperture as narrow as possible, and bring out all the details on the lens.

I love these outtakes, and it was hard to discard them for today’s selection. However, I’ve built a nice series of this little boardwalk at Clark Lambros that I’m quite pleased with, and delighted to see as a series one day. A favorite composition.
