Musings [143 words]

I’ve always been annoyed at the existence of this pull-up bar. It didn’t exist when the project began, and then one day it was there. And it’s still there today, as of May 10, 2023. I have always wanted to tear it down, as I highly doubt it has actually been put there by the parks department. The annoying part is that it now shows up in the background of countless photos.

Is that a sign, that at 40, I’m becoming a curmudgeonly old man?

Regardless, a project that is more documentation than artistic expression, this is one very direct change along the beach I’ve observed over these sunrise years. It deserves a place in this project where the other compositions from the morning are photos I have countless versions of.
