I was torn on this edit. Ultimately it was between the official selection and the first outtake below. What pushed me over the edge in choosing today’s selection is revisiting this shot from December 20, 2019. It’s a little wider in composition, but seeing the two together is beautiful in their contrast, one full of snow and nearly monochrome, the other rich in oranges, blues, and waves.
