It has been two years since Joy passed away. I’m finding it to hit me harder this year than last. I give partial credit this project, chasing sunrises, which has allowed me to continue opening my heart, be more in touch with my emotions, and has helped me stay grounded with the things that matter most. This is all very good. I want it to hit me, I want to feel the emotions and be present with it and find a way to let it affect me in a positive way moving forward.
Today I am full of thoughts about my mom and dad, on their way to Kalamazoo to do a news story of Joy Bears.
