Musings [108 words]

There was a time that I used to think a lot about benches. I believe it started when I was just 17 or 18 years of age. It followed me through college, and certainly in Europe when I studied abroad. I haven’t had any new or profound thoughts about a bench in a long time, but when I see a bench, especially a well placed bench, it brings me a smile and a sense of calm. It’s important as ever that we take the time to slow down, to sit down.

Nearly twenty years later, thinking less about the bench, and more about the bench maker.

Fuel more Sunrises

There is plenty more to come from Year of the Sunrise. You can always add a cup of coffee to keep me going strong in the mornings, or a tank of gas to get me to some new places, as the sun keeps rising.
