Two days in one. On the best sunrise mornings, of which there have been many (and has nothing to do with what the sunrise looked like), I look back and feel there were two complete days. There’s the sunrise portion of the day, and then there’s everything else. Ideally, the sunrise portion is long and slow, and then I make a slow transition into everything else.
I’ve been thinking about relationships and conflict. So much of a relationship is made or broken based on how conflict is handled. I feel I read once that most fights in a marriage revolve around kids, money, and sex. I’ve been thinking in a different context of the three big areas: daily life, big changes, and times of adversity. It seems most fights fit into one of these or are trigger by one of these. More on this the day I find myself in another romantic relationship.
