Let’s say I get eight hours of sleep in a night. That leaves sixteen waking hours. Of those, I can do twelve of them to hanging out by myself really well on any given given day. But the other four are a constant struggle. Weekdays it might be shorter, like just an hour or two of struggle, but on weekends, to keep that average, it’s upward of 7-10 hours of struggle. I feel this obligation to socialize and have fun on weekends, but each weekend I fail. At the minimum, I long to have someone to simply recap my day with, to process thoughts and ideas with. But most days that’s all up to me, and that doesn’t always produce the best results.
