Musings [156 words]

Mornings like June 23 are pretty. They look amazing on screen and paper and people share them and gush over them when they could be out there themselves. But they aren’t the mornings I look back to the most. The ones I look back to are the ones I felt in my body, when there was wind, or rain, or cold, or crashing waves or thunder. The colors, especially seen as a photo, stimulate a single sense, but the mornings that linger inside of me are the ones that fire off sensations for more than my eyes. And that’s why I’m out there, a photo can’t capture of of that, no matter how colorful it is or how many likes or shares it gets. I crave more rain, thunder, intense wind, the cold. Now, it makes me think of the way [REDACTED] talks about [REDACTED], a reference I didn’t have the first half of this project.
