It’s another case of the Mondays. The first mistake was forgetting this was actually the first sunrise before 8AM, and I thought I had a little more time. I peaked outside the shades, which is now a morning ritual, and saw it was going to beautiful sunny morning. I get dressed, head out and rush down to Founders Lansing. As I’m walking through the snow I lower my head to turn my camera on, make sure we’re good to go. Nothing on the LCD screen. In fact, it’s feeling pretty light. I had forgotten the battery in the charger at home. Why does this always happen on the beautiful mornings?
The next 8AM sunrise in Marquette is on October 11. That seems like an awfully long ways away when I’d really like to sleep in.
