Musings [144 words]

I’ve been thinking of Grandpa Stoddard lately. He would have loved this project, and so many other ones. He deserves all the credit for getting my mother into photographer, who got me into photography. When I was quite young I remember being given a flash cube camera from Grandpa. To be sure, I’m not sure if all the grandkids got one, or if we had one to share, or what the deal was. But there were these little four-use camera flashes that would go on top. They were funny little things, even by 1980s standards. Then as a teenager I started to pick up my mom’s Canon SLR film camera. I wish he could see this project. I wish we could geek out about the newest camera gear. I owe him the time to dust off his old camera collection and build a display.
