On feeling failure
It’s a common question at every conference, speaking gig, etc. And I actually get nervous that I’m going to get the question more.
“You’ve told use abut youe successes. What about your failures?”
Maybe it’s cliche, but my successes are my failures. Or my failures are my successes. Somethjng like that.
You see, I feel the most failure with the most successful projects I’ve done. How can that be?
Well, the Hometown Invasion Tour was a huge successful, right? Well, I never did write a book about it. And Beer With Branson, it did happen. But I never got a lengthy sit down conversation like I hoped.
More so, perhaps my failure is the projects that never got off the found. Most of which, only I know about.
Because Hometown Invasion Tour happened. A beer it’s Richard Branson happened. The goal was never to write a book.
So we can set these lofty dream-like hopes and expectations within any given project. And each project had its own successes and failures, but anything launched is a success.
